CARE GUIDE

Everything you need to know about keeping your AllSaints pieces in perfect condition.

Our leather pieces are iconic and instantly recognisable as AllSaints.

We do not coat our leather in plastic, as a result the skin remains porous. This means that our leather goods are not water resistant and are susceptible to absorb liquid.

We recommend you avoid exposure to moisture and sunlight. This may have an adverse effect on the colour of the leather. Rain, humidity, direct sunlight, oil, grease (hand cream, make-up), alcohol (perfume solvents) and other abrasive product can all cause permanent marks.

We advise sourcing a leather care specialist who uses an environmentally friendly method to protect your garment. We would suggest a professional leather cleaning by such a specialist every 6-12 months.

If you choose, you can apply a weather resistant product to your item, and follow the direction of the manufacturer. AllSaints is not able to take any responsibility for any discolouration caused by these types of products or treatments.

Due to the global nature of our business we are not currently able to recommend any leather specialists in particular, or a weather resistant product.

To keep your leather in the best possible condition, store in a dust bag where it will be dry and well ventilated, avoid plastic packaging.

Due to the organic nature of the fabric, colour grain variations are to be expected and are a characteristic of natural leathers. Variations in tone, marking and even texture should not be considered imperfections, but unique identifiers of your leather item.

Please take great care when using any beauty products when wearing AllSaints garments, as discolouration can occur due to the chemicals/bleaching agents in these products.

To clean your bag use a damp cloth, wipe gently and avoid rubbing.

We recommend storing your bag in the grey dust bag provided when not in use, avoid storing in plastic packaging.

Try to avoid contact with rain, humidity, direct sunlight, grease (including make up), alcohol (including perfume) and other products that could cause staining.

Denim is built to fade with age, to keep the true shade for longer we would recommend you fasten the garment and wash inside out. Keep your denim away from light surfaces during washing and wear, as the colour may transfer.

Raw denim items we recommend dry cleaning only to maintain a deeper shade for longer. Please note raw denim must be kept away from light coloured surfaces as the colour will transfer.

AllSaints knitwear has been made with the finest materials. We recommend all knitwear is stored flat to keep your garment in shape, avoid hanging heavy knitwear. Be careful when wearing jewellery to avoid snagging.

Wool

Due to the natural characteristics of wool some pilling may occur on the surface of the garment over time. To maintain the appearance of your garment, we recommend using a lint roller.

Merino wool

Due to the shrinkage characteristics of this yarn, we recommend these garments are dry cleaned only.

Boiled wool

Do not wash boiled wool in water as due to the nature of the yarn, shrinkage will definitely occur. This type of wool must always be dry cleaned to maintain the same shape.

To maintain the appearance of garments filled with duck down wadding, we recommend that the garment is tumble dried after washing. To ensure that the feather filling is evenly dispersed, place three tennis balls in a sock and tumble dry with the garment.
